Cheltenham make Wynter move

Cheltenham will sign Bristol City midfielder Jordan Wynter on a month-long loan deal ahead of the weekend.

The 24-year-old, who started City's 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Oxford last week, has made just seven appearances since arriving at Ashton Gate over a year ago and will join when the paperwork is completed.

Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill told the club's official website: "I think it's a fantastic move for him.

"It will be good to get him out and get some league football under his belt. It will only enhance his development."

Wynter, who will be available for the Robins' trip to Tranmere on Saturday, began his career with Arsenal but never pulled on a shirt for Arsene Wenger's men.
