Transfer news: Danny Ings is set to stay at Burnley

Danny Ings is set to remain at Burnley until the end of the season, according to Sky sources.

The striker is reportedly happy at Turf Moor despite interest from Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Ings, who has scored seven goals this season, is out of contract in the summer and could move on before the start of next season.

Burnley will be due around 3m in compensation for Ings if he leaves at the end of the campaign but for now remain determined to keep hold of the 22-year-old.

Sky Sports reporter James Cooper told Sky Sports News HQ:"I’m led to believe the stance of the club remains the same. The striker is not for sale. Danny Ings himself is happy to remain at Turf Moor for the foreseeable future.

"His contract is up in the summer. He becomes a free agent and then will explore his options whether that is staying with Burnley or perhaps moving on."
